Lovebox festival is set in Victoria Park, a park considered to be one of the finest in the East End. Although I only went for one day out of the three, I must say this festival has such a good vibe. Walking in, you just know it’s a cool array of people, with music, fashion and individuality at the forefront of everyone’s minds. The setting of the festival was visually beautiful. With colourful flags, ribbons, oversized fake flowers and pretty lights hanging from the trees the attention to detail was amazing.
The acts were all incredible, so much so that you wanted to be in five different places at once. The weather was gorgeous which only added to the aura of the day. My favourite acts were Duke Dumont, Julio Bashmore, Wiley, Azaelia Banks, and many more!
Next year I am hoping to do all three days, and although Lovebox is not a camping festival, I actually quite liked that; it is such a great vibe knowing you are in East End London yet in a beautiful park. And it’s a great excuse to get a hotel and spend some time in the East End if you’re not from there!
